Routine check-ups
By Michal Hess, DVM

It is highly recommended that every pet have a full physical exam once a year. Individuals with certain medical problems may need to seen more frequently.

This annual visit includes a full physical examination, blood test for tick borne diseases and heartworm disease (for dogs),
fecal exam for intestinal parasites, weight management and external parasite control.

This is also an ideal time to discuss nutrition, behavioral issues, dental care and ask any questions that you may have.
